Updated Armenta Project Budget

Last week, team leaders completed a detailed cost estimate with quantities and costs for over 160 separate material line items. Such a detailed breakdown was possible because of the success of the Site Assessment trip. Additional details will be rolled out as the next phase of the project kicks off.

Assuming labor other than hired skilled labor is free, project costs, shown here to nearest $1000, are as follows:

· $112,000 PVC and GI Piping, Valves and Connections

· $ 30,000 2 – 55,000 Gallon Water Storage Tanks

· $ 3,000 Raising Low Head Water Collection Dam

· $ 1,000 New Water Sedimentation Tank

· $ 21,000 Multiple Pipe Bridges

· $ 6,000 Pipe Supports (primarily along mountainside)

· $ 3,000 Equipment to Purchase

· $ 3,000 Expendables (Safety gear, blades, bits, fuel, etc)

· $ 3,000 Equipment and Small Truck to Rent (10 week rental)

· $ 7,000 Hired Skilled Labors & Night Watchmen

· $ 8,000 Material Delivery

· $ 26,000 Contingency on Materials (15 %)
